A case of SSPE at 14 months of age, as a consequence of congenital measles virus infection: a case report

The disease has a gradual progressive course leading to death within one to three years. Most patients have a history of natural measles infection before two years of age. We report a case of SSPE at 14 months of age who had been treated with standard immunoglobulin as a consequence of congenital measles virus infection.
