Human Toxocara canis infections are seen all over the world, particularly in regions where moderate and tropical climates are dominant. Dogs are reservoirs in disease transmission. Toxocariasis is a parasitic disease due to Toxocara canis and Toxocara cati, which live in the intestines of cats and dogs. In this article, we report a 12-year-old girl who presented with complaints of abdominal pain and edema of the eyes and face and who had immunoglobulin E level of 4540 kU/L, white blood cell count (WBC) of 21500/mm3, and 81% eosinophilia in peripheric blood smear, who was diagnosed as toxocariasis. We stress with this case report that parasitic diseases can manifest with variable clinical scenes and are rarely seen. Anahtar Kelimeler : toksokariazis, köpek, immünglobulin E, eozinofili
